The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is the official legal print publication containing the codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the departments and agencies of the Federal Government. (a) A person convicted of violating a provision of the regulations contained in this part shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $500 or by imprisonment not exceeding 6 months, or both, and shall be adjudged to pay all costs of the proceedings.
(b) Notwithstanding the provision of paragraph (a) of this section, a person convicted of violating § 34.5(b)(15) of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not more than $100.
