The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is the official legal print publication containing the codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the departments and agencies of the Federal Government. (a) Specifications. Each tablet contains either 10 or 20 milligrams of meclofenamic acid.
(b) Sponsor. See No. 054771 in § 510.600(c) of this chapter.
(c) Conditions of use in dogs —
(1) Amount. 1.1 milligrams per kilogram (0.5 milligram per pound) daily for 5 to 7 days.
(2) Indications for use. For the relief of signs and symptoms of chronic inflammatory disease involving the musculoskeletal system.
(3) Limitations. Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
